London and KSS Foundation Schools
Welcome to the London and KSS Foundation Schools pages; a collaboration between North Central & East London Foundation School, North West London Foundation School and South Thames Foundation School.
The three Schools are managed by a central administrative team based in HEE offices in London but have three distinct indenities which can be explored by clicking on the relevant areas below, along with information relevant across all schools which can be found in the joint school and programme information section.

North West London Foundation School
The North West London Foundation School (NWLFS) is run by Health Education NW London, incorporating Foundation Training Programmes within linked NHS Trusts. The Foundation Programme is a two-year generic training programme designed for medical school graduates. The programme forms the bridge between medical school and core training. It is designed to give Foundation Doctors a range of experience before choosing an area of medicine in which to specialise and delivers an integrated educational programme with defined outcomes.
The Foundation School co-ordinates the allocation processes to Foundation Year 1 and Foundation Year 2 and supports the delivery of Foundation Training and the development of Foundation Doctors.
NWLFS is committed to providing high-quality Foundation Training in all our linked Trusts and works within the General Medical Council Standards for Training for the Foundation Programme. Further information on all aspects of Foundation training can be found on The Foundation Programme website.

North Central and East London Foundation School
The North East Thames Foundation School (NETFS) has now merged with the North Central Thames Foundation School (NCTFS) to form the North Central and East London Foundation School (NCELFS) .
It is a foundation school of Health Education North Central and East London (HENCEL) linked to UCL Medical School(UCLMS)and Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry (Barts).
